Kentucky Horse Park

Every year, the UK Hospital has a staff picnic at the Kentucky Horse Park. The park consists of various fields of different types of equestrian games such as polo, rodeo, jumping, etc. The park is a beautiful place full of white picket fences and many different species of horses. The picnic has a local favorite Billy's BBQ cook up the food, and there are pony rides, trail rides, and a hayride. Aryana came across her first encounter of a horse, and she went on her first hayride.

Unfortunately when she met her first horse, her eyes were closed because she slept the entire time we were there. She was definitely the life of the party because a lot of people came up to us to see her and hold her.
