Rhododendrons

Our house has a rhododendron bush in the front yard by the entrance. The rhododendron just so happens to be the state flower of West Virginia where Lee and his siblings were raised. It is easily recognized by its deep evergreen leaves and its delicate pink blooms with red or yellow flecks.

The day after Aryana was born, the rhododendron flowers bloomed as if they were welcoming her home.
